Took last 2 days off to recover and to celebrate my engagement to a wonderful woman. Woke up this morning with the start of a flu. Travelled down to Port Slade for the Sussex Open. Fenced appalingly. Should have done OK in my poule but came second last. Had no energy. My legs were dead. Had to take 2 days of work afterwards withs the flu. Think I pushed myself too hard for a few weeks before. Over training and under recovering.
